Woods Seafood

I was told to stop by this place an order the low country boil. I have to start by saying the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I like that they bring the cooked items out to your car. There is no sitting or waiting room in the shop. They are very fairly priced on all of their seafood. The low country boil is great and seasoned well. It comes with shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes I had them add large crab legs. I am very pleased with my experience and recommend anyone looking for a great low country boil or fresh seafood to go here first.

I have been going to woods seafood since they were in their first location. Never ever had a problem everyone has always been polite and friendly seafood on point. Now i actually frequent both locations . On Thursday Port Wentworth had a special than ran on a bushel of oysters for 37.00. I was working at the time but was in the area so i stopped went in and paid for the bushel of oysters and asked can i come back and pick them up the young lady said yes and asked for my name and wrote it down that i paid on a piece of paper and taped it on the counter . I called and told them the next day and asked about the oysters the young lady said we still have them. but it was almost closing time . So long story short i stopped to pick them up today and was told i could no longer get them at that price . I could only get a half of bushel cause they dont have that special no more and i was supposed to get them the day of the special. I as a customer feel like if i was asking for the special today and trying to pay today then it would be no we dont have that anymore or if i called and the young lady said no we cant hold your oysters anymore but she didnt. I was told we were trying to get rid of oysters at the time we dont offer that special that you already paid for. If i was to call on the phone and ask them to hold the oysters and didnt come then yes charge me whatever the price is but not when i already paid and you agreed to hold them for me and it didnt have to be that day because you would of stated that when i paid and also when i called back. I prepaid and should of been able to get what i paid for especially if they still had the oysters....

The one in Port Wentworth is always great. I've been going for a while. They opened one in Springfield. The heavier set lady in there is NASTYYYYYY. SHE HAS HER SELECT "FEW" she is nice too, if you will. I know we live in a little ol' country town, but you think you would want business. Left her yesterday, just to go to Port Wentworth. AND WE LIVE IN RINCON!! That was our second time there. All the other employees are wonderful. It's 2024. Get it together, lady.
